Bladed Trocar
The Bladed Trocar is used for laparoscopic surgeries and in the surgical field, for the purpose of ensuring that the surgical instruments reach the operating area. It provides access to devices and equipment such as cautery, camera, etc. placed in the body through small holes called "non-bleeding surgery" or "closed surgery" in laparoscopic surgery. Variable sizes are available. The operation is completed with various equipment (such as camera, cautery, etc.) according to the type of operation.
- The device is a sterile, non-bending surgical instrument with a sharp pyramidal tip designed to puncture the abdominal wall to facilitate insertion of a separate laparoscopic arm assembly during laparoscopy.
- The Bladed Trocar is used in Laparoscopic surgery to provide the operation performed by the Laparoscopic method without incision in the patient.
- In the hospital, 3 or 4 trocars are used in a laparoscopic intervention without any incisions.
- It is used because it is desired to minimize the recovery time of the patient as it leaves minimal tissue trauma.
- It is intended to fill the lumen of the Laparoscopic sleeve assembly after puncture, in which the trocar is retracted to provide a single lumen access port to the abdominal cavity.
